The Royal Navy will set sail for Crown Field on Thursday when their female footballers take on Keynsham Town Ladies in a specially-arranged friendly (7.30pm).
Town manager Barrie Newton is relishing the opportunity to match his side against one of the top Service teams, which will be made up of women based at either Devonport or Portsmouth.
The Navy side will be training during the early afternoon ahead of the game, which is part of their preparations for next month's annual Inter-Services competition.
