In the courts: Cases at Bath Magistrates Court

Lisa Fenner, 45, of Uphill Drive, Bath, was fined £215 and disqualified from driving for 19 months for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Belen Vicente, 34, of Hillside View, Peasedown St John, was fined £420 and disqualified from driving for 17 months for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Scott Taylor, 18, of Azimghur Barracks, Colerne, was fined £250 and disqualified from driving for 18 months for driving while over the legal alcohol limit.

Robert Scott, 56, of Burlington Street, Bath, was given a one-year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £22.65 compensation for fraud and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Richard Brain, 52, of Bath Road, Keynsham, was fined £235 and given six penalty points for speeding.

Terence Daniels, 62, of Meadow Gardens, Bath, was fined £91 and given three penalty points for driving with insufficient tyre thread.

Jason Mahoney, 39, of Shaws Way, Twerton, was given a three-month conditional discharge for two counts of begging.

Justin Roberts, 29, of Cotton Mead, Corston, was fined £600 and given six penalty points for failing to provide a driver's identity to the police.

Alan Williams, 54, of Springfield Close, Bath, was fined £100 and given three penalty points for speeding.

Ian Mitchell, 62, of Julian House, Manvers Street, was given a 25-week prison sentence for shoplifting and two counts of burglary while subject to a suspended prison sentence.

Timothy Wilcock, 33, of Fountain Buildings, Bath, was fined £100 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Theresa Baker, 43, of Catherine Way, Batheaston, was ordered to pay £705.48 compensation and ordered to keep her dog on a lead and fitted with a muzzle for being the owner of a dog which was dangerously out of control.

Darren Barton, 26, of King Georges Road, Twerton, was given a 12-month conditional discharge for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Desmond Perry, 46, of Newbridge Road, Bath, was fined £73 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour.

Mark Rogers, 19, of Sheridan Road, Bath, was given a community order and ordered to pay £100 compensation for assault by beating.

Jason Watson, 37, of Southlands, Weston, was given a community order for production of cannabis.

Christian Crook, 40, of Meare Road, Bath, was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £599 compensation for shoplifting.
