Pictures posted on a French technology blog suggest Apple's new iPhone 6 could be on sale in Bath soon.
The pictures show box art for the new device and have been released by Steve Hemmerstoffer, editor of the leading French Apple blog nowhereelse.fr.
If they prove correct, technology fans could have their hands on the phone by Tuesday September 9.
The release is bound to generate queues at Bath's Apple store in SouthGate.
When the iPhone 5 was released in 2012, more than 500 people queued to be the first to own the new phone.
The frenzy in Bath was mirrored across the world, with some shoppers queuing for more than a day in London.
Mr Hemmerstoffer says the box art was passed to him by a reliable Chinese source. On the box a date, thought to be the announcement date, can be seen.
