Gareth Bale will make a triumphant return to Wales - alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and new-boy James Rodriguez - when Champions League winners Real Madrid face Europa League holders Sevilla in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup.
The all-Spanish clash will take place at the Cardiff City Stadium as opposed to AS Monaco's ground, which was the showpiece game's traditional base for many years.
It will kick-off on Tuesday, August 12 at 7.45pm BST (8.45pm CET), and will be shown live on ITV4.
Real Madrid qualified by beating La Liga champions Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final in May, while Sevilla overcame Portuguese champions Benfica on penalties in the Europa League final.
Tuesday's match will see World Cup golden boot winner Rodriguez make his Real Madrid debut following his summer move from Monaco.
