Real Madrid's World Cup winner Sami Khedira could still start the season at Arsenal as the European champions want to offload the midfielder. A move to the North London club looked to be off following Khedira's return from Germany's World Cup campaign.
However, one player who could be leaving Arsenal for Madrid is winger Santi Cazorla who is a target of Athletico Madrid. The Spanish champions are also targeting two strikers, Chelsea's Fernando Torres and Manchester United's Javier Hernandez.
Fabio Borini could still be leaving Liverpool for Sunderland. The club's had agreed a £14m deal for the Italian, who spent last season on loan at the Stadium of Light, but Borini wanted to stay at Anfield. However, Sunderland boss Gus Poyet said the deal could still be on.
Manchester United still hope to complete a £47m deal for Juventus star Arturo Vidal, with Marouane Fellaini set to leave Old Trafford to link up with Rafa Benitez at Napoli.
