The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is reminding people who are travelling to Glastonbury to make sure drivers are fully fit to drive and are not under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
Police will make arrests at the roadside if they have good reason to believe people are driving whilst unfit through drugs or alcohol.
The penalties for drug driving are the same as drink driving.
Police are urging people to not drink over the limit even if they think they can handle their drink. Police are warning that sleep, coffee and cold showers will not help to sober people up.
Nearly a third of all ticket holders to Glastonbury now come to the site on coaches, trains and other forms of public transport and these forms of transport are encouraged.
