Commuters are facing heavy traffic getting in and out of Bath this evening after a crash between two lorries on the A46.
Police were called out to the stretch of road between Nimlet and Cold Ashton just before 3.30pm this afternoon.
The collision involved two HGVs and, although no-one is believed to be seriously injured, the vehicles were blocking the road causing congestion in both direction.
There is also an oil spillage on the road which needs to be cleared up.
Traffic was expected to be busy in Bath today because the University of Bath has been hosting its open day, so it will have meant extra cars making their way up to the M4 motorway this evening.
