Bath-based tennis ace Samantha Murray was unable to book a second Wimbledon spot after being knocked out of qualifying for the ladies' doubles competition on Wednesday.
Team Bath MCTA player Murray was handed a wildcard into the singles draw last week and was hoping to make sure of a twin date at SW19.
However, her and partner Jade Windley were beaten 6-4 6-2 by number two seeds, Ukraine's Yuliya Beygelzimer and Klaudia Jans-Ignacik of Poland.
Bath will still be represented in the main ladies' doubles draw at the All England Club as Murray's team-mate Anna Smith and her partner Jocelyn Rae were given a wildcard last week.
