A man wanted on suspicion of a series of burglaries in Bath and South Gloucestershire has been arrested after a police pursuit along the A4 between Bath and Bristol.
The 33-year-old, driving a green Honda Civic, was spotted by police near Corston at around 1.30pm today.
He failed to stop and was pursued towards Bristol and at the Hicks Gate roundabout a stinger device was deployed.
Despite it puncturing all four tyres, the Honda only came to a stop near the park and ride at Brislington where the driver was Tasered and arrested.
The man, from South Wales, is now in custody at Bath police station where he will be questioned about six burglaries in Bath and the Staple Hill area.
