George Street in Bath has now reopened after an earlier crash between a taxi and a pizza delivery motorbike at the junction with Milsom Street.
Police and ambulance crews have been in attendance at the incident, which happened shortly before 2pm.
A man in his 30s, understood to be the motorcyclist, was taken to the Royal United Hospital.
Details of his injuries have not yet been released.
Police closed the road for a short time while the dealt with the incident, but it has now reopened.
Eye-witnesses have posted pictures of the aftermath of the crash on Twitter.
