Bath's Ping Coombes is continuing her bid to be crowned MasterChef champion 2014.
Despite stumbling slightly in last night's episode, the 33-year-old is still in the running to win the BBC programme, as her dishes continue to wow John Torode and Gregg Wallace.
Last night she made it through to the final three of the competition, alongside Jack Lucas and Luke Owen.
However, it was the end of the road for 43-year-old Angela Langford, from Somerset, who was eliminated.
Ping, along with the other final three contestants, had to cook at the Holborn Dining Rooms in London for the Chef's Table challenge.
All four amateur chefs had to cook one course from a menu designed by two Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge, for a collection of the country's finest chefs; Ashley Palmer-Watts, Michael Caines, Nathan Outlaw, Simon Rogan and Tom Kitchin.
Ping's dessert of malt cake, malted milk ice cream, orange tuile filled with creme fraiche, a yeast tuile and butterscotch sauce, impressed everyone.
Michael Cains said he was "impressed with the presentation" and added: "The whole complexity of the dish comes together in harmony - that is real skill."
Tom Kerridge said: "The end result was fantastic, you should be really proud of yourself."
The contestants then returned to the MasterChef studios to create a dish based around chicken.
However, this proved to be problematic for Ping, whose pan-roasted and poached chicken, with rice and chilli sauce, was not well-received.
Greg Wallace said: "There is not a great deal of complexity going on here. We are used to getting surprises from you. This is good, but it is not remarkable."
While John Torode added: "This is a bit "ok"."
Both Ping and Angela were asked to cook again to keep their place in the competition, and here Ping had more success with her pork and liver soup, salted egg fried chicken and rice.
She was chosen over Angela to go through to the final three.
Tonight's episode will see Ping head for Barcelona where she will have to design and cook a tapas dish, meet legendary pastry chef Christian Escribà and cook for Michelin starred chef Carles Abellan.
MasterChef continues on BBC One at 9pm.
