Peter Stringer says Bath Rugby will head into their Aviva Premiership play-off decider at Harlequins with no fear, despite their opponents' daunting record at The Stoop.
If Bath are to maintain the top-four spot they have held throughout the season, they will need to do something no team has managed in the league since September and prevent Quins winning on their home turf.
Bath also have a poor record at The Stoop, with their last victory coming in September 2004. That was one of only four occasions they have avoided defeat during the professional era, with the last being a 6-6 draw back in 2010.
However, Mike Ford's men do have an impressive away record during the 2013-14 Premiership campaign, having only lost twice on the road - and not at all since December.
"We have to remember what has got us this far," vastly-experienced Irish fly-half Stringer told the Daily Express.
"Being away is not a huge thing for us. We know Harlequins bring intensity to the game. Wherever they are on the pitch doesn't really matter, because they all like to have a go.
"But we won't give up this fourth spot lightly. We believe we've made huge strides over the season but the coaches are always saying we've only scratched the surface of what we can achieve here and this is what drives everyone on."
