A family had to be rescued when their car caught fire in the lion enclosure at Longleat Safari Park.
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue were called to the safari park at 1pm on Good Friday to reports of a car fire.
A spokesman said: "We were called to a car fire in the lion reserve in Longleat. It was member of the public's car well alight.
"Staff were rounding up the lions."
A fire crew from Warminster attended the incident and used two hose reels to put the fire out. The crew remained at the scene for an hour and a half.
No person or animal was hurt during the incident.
Kevin Ashley, from Longleat Safari Park, said: "The lions were cleared from the enclosure and the safari park was closed."
