A fund set up in memory of a 27-year-old man killed in a car crash has so far raised more than £65,000 for Dorothy House.

James Eyers who worked for Bathampton tax consultancy Marcussen, died in a road accident between Bathford and Bradford on Avon in March 2007.

At the time of his death, James, from Frome, had been planning to run the Bath Half Marathon just a few days later in aid of Dorothy House Hospice Care. His friends and family decided to honour his memory by raising funds for the hospice, and set up a Tulip Fund.

They are holding a fundraising quiz night and raffle to boost the £65,000 raised so far.
