Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was conned out of money in her own home.
The incident happened on Tuesday March 25 at around 10am when a man talked his way into an elderly woman's home in the Larkhall area and persuaded her to give him £24.
He told her his car had broken down and that he needed to charge his mobile phone.
The man is described as black, bald, with sunglasses pushed onto his forehead and wearing a long black overcoat.
Anyone who may have seen the man or who any information is asked to call Bath police on 101 quoting crime reference number 30238/14.
Police are also reminding people, particularly the elderly, never to open the door to strangers or unexpected callers.
