Don't let Catherine's killers serve shorter sentences, Bath graduate's family tell Justice Minister

The family of Bath graduate Catherine Wells-Burr have been meeting Justice Minister Jeremy Wright in an attempt to stop two of her killers serving shorter sentences. Former Bath Spa University student Catherine was murdered at her home in Chard in September 2012. Her boyfriend Rafal Nowak and his lover Anna Lagwinowicz were convicted of murdering Catherine and ordered to serve a minimum of 32 years behind bars. But the Polish nationals have now applied to serve their sentence in their native country where sentencing laws mean they could serve up to seven years less.
