A 21-year-old man was stabbed during a robbery in Bath.
The incident happened when the victim was walking along Lower Bristol Road, near Midland Terrace, at around 10.30pm on Monday.
He was attacked without warning near the traffic lights on the corner of the road and suffered a single stab wound to his back.
He fell to the ground and while he was lying on the floor, the attacker went through his pockets and stole two mobile phones and £200 cash.
The victim managed to reach his home nearby where an ambulance was called.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital and was treated for a punctured lung.
The only description of his attacker is that he was a black man who walked away after the robbery.
