As British holidaymakers prepare for their annual dash for the sun-drenched beaches of Europe you may well be advised to stay at home.
Three of the top beaches in Europe are in the UK, according to the TripAdvisor.
Rhossili Bay in Wales is crowned as the best beach in the UK in the Traveller Choice Beaches Awards.
And the Gower beach was also named third best in Europe and ninth in the world.
So if you haven't booked your holiday yet, you just might well think again about the destination.
