A bus has got stuck under a bridge in Bath.
The single-deck First bus had attempted to drive under the railway bridge on Jews Lane early this evening, but became stuck because of the six foot six inches height restriction.
It is believed the bus, which had travelled down Lansdown View, was not carrying any passengers but was being returned to the First bus depot on Lower Bristol Road.
Eye witnesses have told the Chronicle this evening that the driver escaped uninjured.
