The A46 has reopened following a two-vehicle accident.
Police closed the road earlier because of the accident on the A46 between its junction with the A4 London Road and the A420 Cold Ashton roundabout.
The closure has caused long delays in and around Bath with queueing traffic being reported on the M4 near junction 18 for Bath.
