A Bath restaurant remains closed following a fire.
Avon Fire and Rescue has said it is not treating the fire at the Thai by the Weir restaurant on Argyle Street as suspicious.
Fire crews were called to the restaurant yesterday afternoon just before 4pm. Crews from Bath, Keynsham and Brislington attended.
The fire is said to have started in the restaurant's extractor vent ducting in its basement kitchen.
Smoke could be seen from around the city, and filled the restaurant.
A woman, thought to be in her 30s, was treated at the scene by paramedics for suspected smoke inhalation.
A small crowd gathered outside the restaurant and people were moved along Great Pulteney Street, and later stopped from crossing Pulteney Bridge.
A spokesman said: "Five fire engines were on scene at the height of the fire and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze using two high pressure hose reels."
A notice in the window of the restaurant said it remains closed today because of the fire.
Despite numerous attempts by the Chronicle to contact the owners no one was answering the telephone at the restaurant.
It is not known what damage was caused by the fire and how long it will remain closed.
