Bath Rugby prop Paul James has been named in the Wales squad for the RBS 6 Nations.
James could be set to feature heavily in this year's championship, with Wales' regular loosehead Gethin Jenkins suffering a knee injury in Cardiff Blues' Heineken Cup defeat to Toulon on Saturday. Jenkins, however, has also been named in the squad.
James has won 48 caps for Wales and could bring up his half-century when they travel to Ireland on Saturday, February 8.
Head coach Warren Gatland has named no uncapped players in his squad as Wales seek to win an unprecedented third title in a row.
"We have got an opportunity to create history and that is something we will focus on and something that will give us extra motivation," said Gatland, who oversaw the British &Irish Lions' tour victory over Australia last summer.
"We have got the three games at home and two tough away games but when we won the Grand Slam in 2008 and 2012 we had these fixtures so we know it can be done."
