Radio presenter Jeremy Vine has entered the debate surrounding the sexual harassment case of Bath television star Charlie Vernon.
Miss Vernon, 28, this week won an employment tribunal against former employers the Genuine Gemstone Company.
The presenter was sacked by the firm last May after she was seen on air giving a finger gesture.
The gesture was made in response to a crew member at studios in Redditch who Miss Vernon claimed had been calling her names through her earpiece. The presenter alleged she was called a "f"****** big whore" and a "big bitch".
The tribunal ruled that Miss Vernon had been sexually harassed and the language used had been unprofessional.
She was awarded £3,250 but the tribunal rejected her claims for unfair dismissal and for victimisation.
BBC Radio Two presenter Mr Vine has this afternoon asked his 200,000 Twitter followers who would say whore into the earpiece of a TV presenter during her broadcast?
