Former Von Essen hotel, Hunstrete House, will reopen as The Pig - near Bath, in March.
It was announced that the country house hotel, set in 20 acres of woodland and deer park, was bought by hotel guru Robin Hutson last year and has been undergoing extensive renovation.
It will be the third property in The Pig sty. The flagship property in Brockenhurst in the New Forest opened in 2009 to rave reviews and has won numerous awards. It was soon followed by The Pig in the Wall in Southampton and The Pig on the Beach in Studland in Dorset is expected to open later next year.
Th Pig's signature is its 25-mile menu which only includes ingredients sourced from within 25 miles of the hotel, including many grown in the hotel's extensive kitchen garden.
The same ideology will be applied The Pig - near Bath which will have its own garden, and has a herd of deer which will provide venison.
Hunstrete House has been closed since it went into voluntary liquidation in 2011 and the renovation is believed to have cost around £3million.
Designed in the same shabby chic style that has become The Pig's signature, it will feature a greenhouse restaurant, a private room for dinner parties, 29 bedrooms and massage treatment rooms.
Mr Hutson, chief executive of Home Grown Hotels, parent company of The Pig, said: "We have had our eyes on this area for a while and the location just seven miles from Bath is fantastic for us. It has great demographics and has always been an area renowned for great country house hotels – we are really looking forward to reviving this property and making it an integral part of the local scene again."
