Young singers from a Bath school have completed a mammoth challenge to perform at 40 churches and chapels in just one day.
The Kingswood School Senior Choir achieved a musical first for the city, by singing traditional carol Hark! The Herald Angels Sing at various locations around Bath.
They started the tour at their school chapel at 8am, before spending the morning walking around Bath and then the afternoon on a coach, travelling out as far as Box.
Director of music Richard Mainwaring led the choir on the dash around the city, which ended 13 hours later, back at Kingswood at 9pm.
The choir raised sponsorship money through the challenge, which is being donated to the charity Hope and homes for Children.
