A man from Bath has been charged with violent disorder after a local football derby in Bristol.
He is among seven more men due to appear in court in relation to offences committed during the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game between Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.
Police say a series of disorder incidents happened before, during and after the game on September 4.
It was the first official clash between the two Bristol clubs since 2007 but was marred by anti-social behaviour and violence, which sparked a major police operation.
Ricky Marsh, aged 53, of Quarry Rock Gardens, Bath will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court on February 20. He is charged violent disorder and use of abusive/insulting words/ behaviour to cause fear of or to provoke unlawful violence.
