Traffic has started mounting up in Bath already as people visit the Christmas market.
Roads in and around the city centre are busy, with people experiencing delays
Car parks at the three park and rides, Newbridge, Odd Down and Lansdown, and SouthGate were completely full by 12.30pm.
Traffic has already started building earlier than usual in hotspots including Upper Bristol Road, Cleveland Bridge, and Lower Bristol Road.
Tomorrow is expected to be one of the busiest days on the roads of Bath so far this year.
The first Saturday of the Christmas Market coincides with an enticing Bath Rugby home clash with west country rivals Exeter.
And now police are warning motorists to expect delays as a huge load is transported on roads around Bath.
The massive load was to be transported from Membury Services to Avonmouth last weekend but was cancelled.
