Peter Stringer is expecting a physical afternoon when Bath Rugby take on Wasps in the Aviva Premiership tomorrow (2pm).
Bath travel to Adams Park looking for a seventh straight win in all competitions. They face no easy task, however, coming up against a Wasps side enjoying an upturn in fortunes in the league.
After losing each of their opening three Premiership fixtures, the Londoners have won three of their last four league outings.
Before breaking for LV= Cup action over the past fortnight, they recorded back-to-back wins over champions Leicester Tigers and Gloucester.
Irishman Stringer, who will start at scrum-half for Bath tomorrow, says his side know exactly what type of challenge is ahead of them.
"We've built up a lot of wins recently and hopefully we can carry it forward into Sunday against a determined and strong opposition in Wasps," said the 35-year-old.
"They have picked up a lot in recent matches and I watched the game a few weeks ago against Leicester. They put in a really great performance and were able to turn them over.
"They are going to be strong and are looking to climb up the table.
"They are a team who are capable of running the ball from all over the pitch. They have a lot of dangerous threats as they can be quite physical as well up front.
"Right across the board they are going to be tough. We are going there under no illusions that it is going to be physical.
"But we are just looking to build on the momentum we have had in the last couple of months and look to get another win on the road as well to build our confidence in that regard.
"We are trying to not look too far ahead. It's on old cliche but it's one game at a time for us."
