Pupils at a Bath secondary school have been presented with a new microscope to help them with their science studies.
The Bath Fertility Clinic made the donation to Beechen Cliff School to inspire the next generation of scientists.
Consultant embryologist Dr Stephanie Gadd and business manager Natalie Emmett visited the Alexandra Park school to present the Wild M3Z stereo zoom microscope.
Head of science Andrew Seal thanked the pair for the gift and said it was a welcome addition to the department's equipment and resources.
He said: "This state-of-the-art microscope will allow us to carry out a greater range of experiments and will further inspire them in their studies.
