Gary Gold says the next fortnight is crucial for Bath Rugby in their overall ambitions this season. On Sunday they travel to Wasps in the Aviva Premiership (2pm) looking to extend their winning run to a seventh game in all competitions. They then entertain Exeter Chiefs next weekend. With Bath third in the Premiership but facing Harlequins, Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers over the Christmas period, director of rugby Gold says it is vital they continue their good form into those fixtures. "They are critical games. I'm not saying that there is a game that isn't a critical game but we've spoken about the need to keep that momentum going" said Gold. "It would be really disappointing if we were to slip up. It's really important that we focus on these next two games and see the importance of them in the bigger picture. "But we know what a good team Wasps are. We haven't had great success there and they've had some great results so far this year. "They have really picked up recently and you saw it last year that when they hit their straps they are a formidable team. "They've got big ball-carrying back-rows and a very exciting back three. "High Wycombe is a very tough place to go to and we are very aware of that. We are going to have to be at the top of our game to play against a pretty upbeat Wasps team." Davey Wilson is expected to return to the Bath side at Adams Park following the conclusion of England's QBE Internationals. Fellow prop Paul James is unavailable, however, and starts Wales' clash against Tonga tomorrow. Flanker Francois Louw is on duty for South Africa when they take on France on Saturday. Centres Gavin Henson and Ben Williams remain sidelined through injury but winger Semesa Rokoduguni is in line to return after recovering from a hamstring strain.
