A zumba fan from Colerne has joined more than 90 other men and women in stripping off for charity.

Breast cancer survivor Maureen Winsley, 68, appears on the front cover of the calendar to raise money for two charities.

Participants at Zumba with Jodie, based in Bristol, volunteered to pose naked with only a few well placed props in aid of breast cancer charity BUST and domestic abuse group Survive.

Maureen was inspired to take part after battling breast cancer herself.

She said: "My female relatives died of ovarian cancer. It seemed to be my lot to contract breast cancer twice, both times thankfully discovered early and I have fortunately survived. Having a photo taken for the benefit of breast cancer research was such a simple thing to do, why wouldn't you do it?

"I was glad to be a part of something that will bring in contributions to good causes."

Each woman on the front page of the calendar is either a breast cancer survivor or has come out standing tall after an abusive relationship.

Organiser Jodie Horton- Stanley, 34, said: "The response was overwhelming, and the calendar grew and grew until we reached nearly 100 participants.

"We wanted to send a message that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and together we can make a difference."

Inside the calendar zumba class participants pose in small groups with a different themes for each month.

December features Jodie and other zumba instructors.

The calendar is on sale for £7.50, with all proceeds being split between the two charities.
