More than 900 women have now signed up to stride out at midnight in support of the Dorothy House hospice charity.
The Bath Midnight Walk takes place on Saturday September 14, and will see the women walking the streets of Bath dressed in pyjamas.
The event, which is in its seventh year, is entered by women walking in memory of a loved one, or in support of someone fighting cancer.
Event organiser Phillippa Watson said: "The Midnight Walk is a great girls' night out, and we have plenty of ladies planning to get into their nighties, or pyjamas and onesies, to do the walk."
Before the walkers set off from the start point in South- Gate, there will be plenty of entertainment on offer, including a warm-up routine to get participants in the mood.
It is the seventh Midnight Walk, and it looks like being a record-breaker.
Since the first walk from Winsley in 2007, the event has grown to become the hospice's biggest fundraising event of the year.
Over its history, it has raised nearly £650,000 for hospice funds, with Dorothy House saying it has made a real difference to people's lives.
The walk is open to women and girls aged 16 and over, and it will start from SouthGate at the stroke of midnight on Saturday, September 14.
The 8km circular route takes walkers around the city, via the Royal Crescent and Royal Victoria Park.
The registration fee is £15, which covers costs only, so everyone taking part is encouraged to raise as much sponsorship as possible.
