Gavin Henson believes the Bath Rugby squad has grown closer together following the infamous start to his career at The Rec.
The Wales international was knocked out by team-mate Carl Fearns in the Pig and Fiddle Pub in July, just a month after signing for the club.
Henson, who is yet to play for Bath, is keen to move on from the incident and instead focus on performing on the pitch for Gary Gold's side.
"That wasn't a great moment but you've got to have these team bonding sessions and obviously that just went one step too far," Henson told BBC Radio Bristol.
"It was a bit embarrassing and not a very good thing for the club but I like to think the squad got tighter after that.
"That won't happen again. Bad things seem to happen when I go out, so it's best I don't go out I think.
"It's not a great start to my Bath career but hopefully I can put that behind me. I think if I can get out on the field and start performing well for Bath hopefully it will, not be forgotten about, but people will accept me and respect me as a rugby player.
"I couldn't really remember much. I had a big headache and was trying to piece together the night. I've had a little bit of stick - I went down quite easily by the looks of things.
"Maybe we will have a charity boxing match at the end of the year so I can get my respect back."
