A team of parents and staff from Kingswood Prep School have successfully cycled from the Royal United Hospital in Bath to John O'Groats, in Scotland.
The epic cycle of 1,000 km completed in seven days was the final challenge in a series of events after the school made a commitment last September to raise £10,000 for the Forever Friends Appeal.
The team of cyclists was made up of parents and the deputy head and headmaster.
The challenge began with a send-off from the front of the RUH and a number of supporters accompanied the riders on the first day of the cycle.
Headmaster Mark Brearey said: "I am very proud of the Kingswood Prep School community working so successfully for such a worthy cause.
"The pupils have worked tirelessly to support the Forever Friends Appeal and at the moment our fundraising has just passed £12,000.
"I would like to thank the children, staff, parents, friends and governors for their support, energy and enthusiasm."
