Children as young as six will be learning to love Shakespeare at a theatre school in Bath later this month.
Theatresaurus runs its sessions from July 29 to August 1 at the city's Kingswood School.
The Theatresaurus ethos comes from a belief that in order to gain a full understanding of a text, youngsters need to perform it.
Director Ros Johnson said: "Young people of all ages should be encouraged to use their imagination, inventiveness and natural playfulness to bring the characters to life whether it be Rosalind, Puck or Hamlet. The development of confidence and self-esteem are the wonderful by-products of this process."
The workshops are generally split into different age groups and all participants have the opportunity to explore a Shakespeare play, working through theatre, games and performance.
They not only rehearse and work on the techniques required for the final performance but also learn stage fighting, vocal skills and improvisation.
At the end of final day, parents and friends are invited to a performance. More details by emailing info@theatresaurus.co.uk.
