Cub Scouts from the 13th Oldfield Park Group have carried out a session of litter picking, weeding and planting in a local park.
The work at the Memorial Gardens in Shaftesbury Road was organised by group Scout leader Trevor Cook and local councillor David Dixon.
They were joined by Barry Cruse, chairman of Bath in Bloom, who provided plants to put into the garden.
After being told about the memorial garden, its history and local significance, the youngsters working in pairs set about picking up litter from in and around the trees and bushes, planting daffodils and weeding.
Mr Dixon (Lib Dem, Oldfield) said he and his fellow councillor Will Sandry were delighted to work in partnership with the group.
"They did a great job, collecting six bags of litter and planting some daffodils with Barry Cruse from Bath in Bloom. It certainly was partnership working at its very best."
