Kye Simpson ended the campaign in a rich vein of goalscoring form as Odd Down claimed back-to-back wins to cement a top-ten Toolstation Premier Division finish. Simpson struck five times in an 11-0 rout of rock-bottom Barnstaple Town at Combe Hay Lane on Thursday night and – after missing a 70th-minute penalty – then helped himself to both of his side's goals in Saturday's 2-0 triumph at Longwell Green Sports. Brad Norris hit a double against Barnstaple, while Sam Anstey, Lee Bridson, Josh Klein-Davies and J Raynes were also on the mark. Larkhall Athletic slipped to a 1-0 defeat at lowly Ilfracombe Town on Saturday but guaranteed a top-five finish by beating fellow high-fliers Street last Wednesday, with Nat Auckland's second-half penalty separating the teams. They are at home to Hallen on Wednesday night and have the chance to exact revenge on Ilfracombe when they host the Devon outfit in their final fixture of 2012-13 on Saturday. Mark Salter scored twice and Tony Conradi once as Bitton ran out 3-0 home winners over Bridport on Saturday, with all the goals coming in the first half. They round off their campaign with a home game against Willand Rovers on Wednesday night.
