Team Bath athletes top the board at Avon Track & Field League meeting

Full and final results are not yet available from the opening Avon Track & Field League meeting at Yate but Team Bath officials believe that they did enough to secure overall victory. Team manager Alison Phillips said: "We scored an impressive 1,403 points in total, with the women's team coming second and the men first, so an enormous well done all round. "Winning the opening match of the season is the first goal in our campaign to top this league for the first time ever this year." There were numerous victories, including two for Zoe Mattock in the under-15 girls' 100m (12.75secs) and 75m hurdles (12.54).
