A new family business has made its debut in Bath.
The Flame Baked Pizza is now serving up wood-fire pizza on Corn Street during the week.
The mobile catering company is run by Gemma Pickering and Adrian Lewis, along with Gemma's father John, who despite all living in St Anne's in Bristol chose Bath to launch the new food venture.
Ms Pickering, 34, said: "We were looking for a pitch and this perfect opportunity came up in Bath.
She added: "We decided that Bath would suit us and the business a lot better. It's a quirky city that suited this kind of thing."
The trio hope their catering trailer, which comes complete with wood-fired pizza oven, will attract those wanting something healthy from a takeaway vendor with its home-made and made to order pizzas.
They hope the business' close proximity to Green Park Station will draw in those who enjoy Bath's artisan food culture as well as appealing to the city's large student population at the college and universities.
All three family members have given up paid work to pursue the dream of running their own business.
Ms Pickering said: "We went on a family holiday last year and we got the idea from there and it has just snowballed. We've all given up jobs which is probably a bit mad. There is a bit of risk involved but we're hoping it will take off because it's so unique."
As well as operating from Corn Street Flame Baked Pizza is also offering catering at events such as weddings, parties, corporate functions and fairs.
