Kit competition winner earns £1,000 for Bath City causes

Bath City Community Foundation and Bath City Youth have been given a £1,000 funding boost between them after a fan won a national competition. Daniel Tanner donated 300 football shirts to housebuilder Linden Homes as part of the Kit Up Kit Out campaign, run in partnership with the Kits4Causes appeal, to support disadvantaged youngsters in the UK and around the world. That was the biggest contribution in the company and Tanner won £1,000 in funds to be donated to a community sports initiative of his choice. "It's great to see such reputable causes in the area see the benefit and I am sure the monies will be put to excellent use," he said. Clive Wiltshire, managing director of Linden Homes Western, added: "The kits that Daniel donated have already been put to good use by the Kits4Causes appeal but it is super that the money is being put to such good use by these local causes."
